Anyone that knows anything about David Tutera knows he hates green for weddings. Many people don't know why, but when Pantone announced it's color of the year for 2013, we gasped.
Emerald Green
Now I don't think the color of the year matters when it comes to planning the event of your dreams, but there are designers and consumers out there that live by the trends, no matter how arbitrary. With that in mind I put this together as a reference between good green and bad green.
There is a huge difference between emerald and forest, lime, kelly or chartreuse. Yes all are green, but the difference is what it looks like on your skin and with your hair.
A green with too much yellow makes just about anyone look washed out and sickly. Forest or hunter greens can make you look pale or dull.
Emerald is a great shade of green but it is also very specific. So here are some examples of good greens, and not so good greens.
